TitleSt Stephen's SchoolDate Range1860 - 2000About this Collection
St Stephen's School was an Anglican Māori boys' boarding school.
It was initially established in 1844 as a girls' school, but in 1860 it changed to a boys' school. While it was originally located in Parnell, Auckland, in 1931 it was relocated to Bombay Hills. St Stephen's was the brother school to Queen Victoria School.
While it's been closed since 2000, it's due to re-open in 2020.
This is a collection of the photographs we hold from those initial opening years.
