The new library has a comprehensive range of horticultural books and journals to provide the industry, students, and the general public with up to date and extensive information about plants and their use.
All funding for the library was raised by the Friends of the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens and it is staffed by volunteer members of the Friends.
