The Broxbourne Collection form by the late Mr and Mrs Ehrman was presented to the Bodleian library in 1979. It comprises some 2,000 manuscripts and printed books, exemplifying styles and techniques in European bookbinding from the 12th to the 30 centuries. It also includes an important collection of catalogues and other documents pertaining to the history of the book trade.
