The Radcliffe Science Library, built by T.G. Jackson in 1897-1901, was brought under the management for the Boledian in 1927 and extended by Sir Hubert Worthington 1933 0 1934. In 1976 a basement extension was build under the front lawn of the adjoining University Museum to house a new reading room for physical sciences with a book storage area below it.
