Album nameSt John's Theological College GraveyardDigitised detailsThe graveyard lying to the west and south of the Chapel on the College of St John the Evangelist grounds, holds the remains of some of the early Maori and Pacific Island scholars, of some early missionaries and their families (including the infant daughter of the Selwyn’s) and of others closely associated with the College.About the albumWe have put together lists of the graves, and as many notes as we've been able to find about each one. There are some people who were buried on the grounds, but never had gravestones erected. These names, where they were from, the day they were buried and their ages, have all been recorded, however, and you can find that list under 'Unmarked graves'.
